Welcome to our class blog

Featured

We are a small class of fifteen phenomenal and fantastic learners from a small country school in NSW, Australia.  Our blog is a place for us  to let you know what we are learning in class and to share our work with you. We hope you enjoy it.

Feel free to leave a comment, we love hearing your thoughts. By  sharing thoughts and ideas with us, we are inspired and you help make our learning relevant and connected.

Moree Zone Cross Country

Yesterday, Wednesday the 27th of May, all the schools from the Moree Zone came to race in the cross country in North Star. There were so many more people here than normal and it was great to race against more people. It was also great to get the chance to meet some new friends.

All the students from North Star tried their best and there were many personal bests achieved. Finn, Mikalea, Jade and Cleo will be representing our school at the Regional Cross Country in Coolah in two weeks time.

Macintyre Cross Country

On Friday the 9th of May we gathered at the North Star Club for the annual Macintyre Cross Country. Everyone had a great day. Congratulations to the winners and well done to everyone for trying their best.

Activities for student blogs

This post is those in the class with their own student blog. Each year, starting in March, their is a ‘Student Blogging Challenge’. This is a set of blogging activities designed to stimulate your interest in blogs and help make your blog one others will want to visit. The ‘Student Blogging Challenge’ has just finished officially, but we can still use the challenge activities to learn about blogging. Visit the ‘Student Blogging Challenge’ (those words are underlined and in a different colour because they are hyperlinked and can be clicked on to get to the right page) and follow through the activities on that page. Subsequent activities can be accessed through the weeks menu on the right hand side of the page.

Anzac Day Ceremony 2015 North Star

The students took part in marching for the Anzac Day ceremony on Saturday. The newly refurbished park looked fantastic and the special features of the ceremony were a treat.
